KICKIN FOR CHRIST
Spirit Team
Ross TaeKwonDo Academy Members are Welcome to become a member of the "KICKIN FOR CHRIST", Volunteer Spirit Team.
Membership To This Team...Is FREE!!
1. Students must be Active Members of Ross TaeKwonDo academy.
2. Feel Comfortable in Proclaiming their Christian Beliefs.
3. Participate In:
** Team Practices
*** Spirit Team Performances
(Students will have Performance Training with a Christian Focus)
4. Show Self-Control and Discipline both In and Outside of Martial Arts classes.
If you feel you and/or your child are able to comply with these requirements...Please Inform your Instructor that you and/or your child wish to join this Spirit Team.
Goals:
1. To reach the lost, disciple the Saved, and bring the body of Christ together in Christian Love.
2. We do these things through Martial Arts Performances and classes, centered on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
3. Reaching the lost requires contact them. We accomplish this by public demonstrations.
4. Practice of the Martial Arts will bring lost persons into proximity with us, thus allowing them to experience and hear the Gospel, the truth about eternal life, and an invitation to receive Jesus Christ.
5. The Members of our "KICKIN FOR CHRIST", Spirit Team are Disciplined, Informed, and Encouraged through practice, the study of Scripture, Participation in Prayer, and Outreach Activities. The discipline we stress in the Martial Arts is trasferred both to our Christian Walk and to Outreach. The opportunity to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ is always present within the team.
We respect the doctinal difference of others, but hold to the essential truths that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, both fully God and fully man, and was crucified, buried and raised from the dead on the third day.
