Other Information:Mr. CJ Baker has brought a NEW wonderful element to the ASTU and to Ross TaeKwonDo. Mr. Baker has had extensive training in Martial Arts in various arts! Mr. Baker is a veteren of the U.S. Navy, where he spent time in both the Middle East and Japan. After serving in Desert Storm, he was reassigned to a ship homeported in Yokosuka, Japan. In Japan he was given the oppurtunity to broaden his martial arts training, and was instructed in Seishin Juku and Kyokushin Karate for several years under Instructor Yoshihiro Takashima, at the Yokosuka Dojo, earning his 2nd Degree Black Belt
.
Sometime after coming home to the US, Mr. Baker started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Mr. Johnny Lee Smith. Since then, Mr. Baker has had the privalege to train under various BJJ Masters/Instructors, including: Master Carlos Machado and Master Rickson Gracie`and his current BJJ instructor Mr. Bryan Baldwin, earning his Purple Belt in BJJ in Aug. 2010.
 
Mr. Baker also currently teaches Karate and BJJ in North Alabama and has experience in coaching many MMA fighters for the past 6years.
